Sometimes clients come to see us and really need something done really quite quickly. We can do that! Tony from IProof, a new roofing business based in Margate came to see us with the name of the business (IProof) and the rest was down to us.
New Logo Design
All we knew was the the business name was IProof, the service was GRP Flat Roofing and reds and blues were the preferred colours. After a couple of iterations over a couple of days, the new logo was born.
And there it is … Simple, clear and eye-catching…

With three new website launches, this week has been very busy for Broadbiz. Our third website launch is for a rapidly growing engineering company based in Ramsgate. We have worked closely with them to get a professional web presence which displays all of their useful information. You can visit their new website by visiting www.ash-cc.com.
Our first website launch for this week goes to National Driving Lessons which is a site dedicated to helping you get on the road..
Barry came to us when he decided he wanted a web presence to promote his business. Broadbiz had an initial meeting with him where we discussed the structure, colour and content of the website. We responded with the first draft which then gave Barry the choice to change anything.
As we approach Halloween (a US phenomenon that has found its way over here – Ed), many local shops are dressing up their windows and in black and orange to celebrate the festival.
How do we achieve this, technically?
Although this looks very different to the usual Broadbiz website, it can actually be achieved quite easily with a little skill, technical knowledge and use of the web design tools available to us. Scroll down to see what the original website looked like.
- CSS – cascading stylesheets are used for all layout on our site and we have created an additional stylesheets (under 200 lines of code) defining the use of fonts and colours
- Google Fonts – Google provide a wide range of fonts which we can embed into websites, this one featuring dripping blodd is called Nosifer.
Given the ease of this, we plan to make this a regular feature as we approach other events such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, etc. if you want to be kep up-to-date with what is going on, please feel free to sign up to our newsletter.
Here at Broadbiz, we have always focussed on working within our community and with the sporty background of many of the staff here, we were delighted to be approached by Thanet District Schools FA to develop a website for them.
So we have just launched the Thanet District Schools FA website who run and manage the representative football teams for Thanet for boys and girls in years 5 to 8. Players attend trials and are picked by committee of teachers/coaches to join the squads.
To visit the new website, please visit www.thanetdistrictschoolsfa.org.uk.
Broadbiz have just finished a new development for a local family run business which has been in the hospitality industry for over 35 years in the Thanet area. You can now visit the new RDF Luxury Cars website by visiting http://www.rdfluxurycars.com.
They will take care of you from the start of your journey until the end in comfort style and luxury, with little touches such as ribbons and champagne to start your journey to make it very special.
Responsive on Mobile Responsive
As statistics show, 60% of internet users are now using mobile devices such as phones and tablets. Having a mobile responsive website allows users to navigate the website by scrolling up and down, not pinching and squeezing.
With that in mind, this is not the only major benefit of having a responsive website for all devices. Overall your website SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) will increase because search engines will recognise your web presence as a mobile friendly website.
