Discussions continue regarding lifting the block on our IP 220.127.116.11. However the majority of emails are now being sent successfully.

The majority of emails are now being delivered to Hotmail email accounts; however work is still ongoing as bounces are still being received.

We are currently investigating reports of bounces still being received by users of the mail platform trying to send to Hotmail e-mail addresses. If you are receiving bounces, as per previously the work around for this is to send the e-mail via the OWA (login.livemail.co.uk). We will update the status page as soon as more information is known.

Emails are now being delivered to Hotmail.com, live.com and outlook.com however there may be some delay and intermittent sending, including bounce-backs until all email is able to pass through whilst the system updates.

There is no further news from Operations Support regarding the Hotmail ban being lifted. They are still working with Hotmail in order to get this resolved.

Operations Support have been actively communicating with Hotmail to have this listing lifted, however at this time mails from this IP is still being actively rejected by Hotmail.
This will affect Starter, StarterPlus, Standard and Advanced mailboxes when configured to send via e-mail client and using Fasthosts SMTP server. Work arounds for the time being are to use OWA or an alternative SMTP server to send mail to these addresses.
We apologise for the delay in getting a resolution on this issue.

Our Operations Support team report that discussions with Microsoft are ongoing presently and no ETA to the resolution is available at this time.
We apologise for the delay in resolution of this issue.
As mentioned previously, customers needing to send to Hotmail addresses should access their mailbox online via https://login.livemail.co.uk where the message will get though without issue, this will not work for the webmail however.
We continue to treat this issue as an urgent priority.

All problems have been resolved.
Initial Post on Thursday 25th February 2016 at 12:12:
We have had a handful of calls from clients this morning as emails being sent to some Hotmail accounts are being rejected.
We have been in touch with Fasthosts, our hosting partners and they have confirmed that some of the Hotmail servers have found their way onto a black list which means that emails will not be delivered and you will receive an error email response.
Fasthosts engineers are working on the problem but have told us that customers needing to send to Hotmail addresses should access their mailbox online via webmail where the message will get though without issue.
Fasthosts are continuing to resolve the problem and will update their support pages when they have done so. We will update you via email when that happens and as Fasthosts are usually pretty good, I would expect that to be later this afternoon.
